Wildlife Art Expedition and Bursary Opportunity

MAAP alumni Chris Wallbank will shortly be departing on his latest expedition, sponsored by the SWLA (Society of Wildlife Artists) Bursary scheme. Chris will be travelling across the Bay of Biscay by ferry and into the Picos De Europa National Park ( N. Spain ) on foot between 7 October and 9 November. Over this month he is hoping to observe and document a whole range of ecosystems, supporting wildlife from deep diving whales to high altitude dwelling species like the Chamois and Wallcreeper. Find out exactly what he discovers by following the expedition’s online log and sketch book at www.picoslog.blogspot.com

SWLA bursary awards of up to £750 each are open to emerging artists to enable them to develop their skills through mounting a special project, travel or education
